Description

Endura-Crylic is a single component, water based acrylic urethane with Low VOC & HAP. This coating is designed for use on a primed or painted substrate, and is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Suitable for metal roll up doors or other industrial applications where a very low odor and low VOC product is desired.

Compatibility With Other Coatings

  • Compatible with most coating types. It may be used over most aged and hard-cured coatings in good condition.
  • Can be used overtop all Endura-Clad & Chem-Bake primers
  • Can be top-coated with Chem-Clear WB after 2 hours where additional gloss, and UV resistance are required.
  • Can be top-coated with Chem-Clear 2k products after 24 hours where additional gloss, UV and chemical resistance are required.


Testing for lifting, bubbling and adhesion is recommended to assure compatibility with unknown coatings.


Reduction

Thinning is not recommended however if thinning is needed to help with the application use cool, clean, near neutral, (pH 6-8) water. If you do not know the quality or pH of the local water supply, thin with distilled or de-mineralized water. Do not thin with hardwater. Reduce in small increments to avoid over-reduction. Do not exceed 5%

Coverage

Approx. 200-350 sq.ft. per gallon. Rates will vary based on substrate, mil thickness and the painter’s application technique.

Dry Time

At 50% relative humidity and temperature of 77°F average dry time is 1 hour. Average time to full cure is 7 days.

Application Conditions

Use at temperatures above 50 degrees F. Apply with airless sprayer, brush or roller to clean surface. Remove dust, dirt and grease prior to application. Do not apply if the application sur-face or ambient temperature is below 50°F (10°C) or above 100°F (38°C), or if the atmospheric temperature is within 5°F of the dew point. Relative humidity should be below 90%. Don't apply when there is a risk of rain or freezing temperatures within 12 hours after application. Don't apply within 2 hours of sunset if the temperature is below 60 degrees. See Technical Data Sheet for detailed information.

Storage

Store above 40 degrees F in a dry area and protect from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Product will not recover from freezing.

Clean up

Clean up with warm water and soap. Clean up spills promptly with suitable absorbent material and dispose of in accordance with local, state of federal regulations.

Health & Safety

Use with adequate ventilation. Approved respirator will reduce irritation. Wear safety goggles during application. If eye contact occurs, flush with water and consult physician
