LAI Resettable 4-Digit Combination Padlock, Laminated Steel, 1-3/4" (44mm)

The L.A.I. L744R-4D is a laminated steel combination padlock with a resettable 4-wheel combination. It is suitable for self-storage units, facility gates, lockers, cabinets, jobsite storage, and other general-purpose security applications where a reusable combination lock is preferred.

The lock is supplied with a combination reset key, also called a change pin, that allows the user to set a private combination after the lock has been opened with the current combination. The factory starting combination is 0-0-0-0.

Combination Reset Notes

• Open the lock using the current combination before attempting to change the code.
• Insert the reset key / change pin into the open shackle hole as far as it will go.
• Leave the reset key in place while setting the wheels to the new combination.
• Remove the reset key after the new combination is set.
• Turn one or more wheels and depress the shackle to lock.
• Record the new combination in a safe place before returning the lock to service.

Important: The reset key / change pin must be fully inserted before changing the combination. If the reset key is not fully depressed during the reset process, the lock combination may be lost.
