Description

Description

This 200-ft roll of gray DBCI-style blade weatherstrip is used to replace worn, cracked, missing, or damaged bottom seal on compatible roll-up doors. This profile is used on DBCI M640 doors and other compatible self-storage, mini-warehouse, and overhead doors that use an equivalent 3/8" T-style blade seal.

The 3/8" T-style mount fits into the bottom seal retainer, while the 1" blade profile helps close the gap between the bottom of the door and the floor or threshold. The 200-ft roll is a practical option for maintenance teams, contractors, and facilities replacing seal across multiple doors or cutting custom lengths in the field. This seal is made in the USA.

Installation Notes

  • Remove the old bottom seal and clean dirt or debris from the retainer before installing the new seal.
  • Check the retainer for crushed, bent, or pinched areas and straighten as needed.
  • Cut the new seal slightly longer than needed, then trim to final length after installation.
  • If needed, use a small amount of plastic-safe, non-staining lubricant in the retainer to help the seal slide through the track.
  • Keep lubricants away from visible painted surfaces, hasps, latch areas, and any areas that may be repainted later.
  • Avoid pulling with excessive force, which may stretch or damage the seal.
  • Lightly crimp the track ends if needed to help reduce seal movement after installation.

This replacement seal may also be referred to as blade weatherstrip, bottom seal, bottom weather seal, door astragal, or roll-up door weather stripping. It helps reduce drafts, light gaps, dust, and water intrusion at the bottom of compatible doors.
