A heavy duty clamshell latch. Uses a cylinder lock for added security. Does not allow a disc lock inside but does have an extra hole allowing a padlock for overlocking purposes.

Note: We modified this product to match manufacturer packaging. Some quick ordering examples:

  • If you want 5 hasps pick 'Single' (individual hasps) and enter the quantity '5'.
  • If you want 18, pick 'Case' (18 hasps per box) and enter the quantity '1'.

    • What if you want a quantity that doesn't evenly match a pack size?
    Say you want 30 hasps. You can increase your order to the nearest pack size (ie 2 'Cases' of 18 = 36 hasps) or select the nearest full pack (ie 1 'Case' of 18 hasps), add them to your cart, then add 12 'Single' hasps to your cart giving you 30. Doing it this way is cheaper than ordering all singles.
Bolt Packs:
If you need bolts we offer the following optional bolt packs which can be selected with the hasps:
  • 1-3/8" Bolt Pack: for 1-3/8" doors. Pack includes 3 carriage bolts 2" x 5/16" w/hex nuts per hasp.
  • 1-3/4" Bolt Pack: for 1-3/4" doors. Pack includes 3 carriage bolts 2-1/2" x 5/16" w/hex nuts per hasp.
  • Combo Bolt Pack: Includes one each of the 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" Bolt Packs listed above.

LAI has enhanced their Clamshell Hasp to accept a standard 19mm cylinder lock. This improvement provides even more protection. It comes with hasp, back plate, jamb receiver, nuts and bolts. (Lock sold separately)  Patent Pending

This hasp does not accomodate a disc lock inside the clamshell but there is a hole on the side allowing a padlock for overlocking.
