EC000 Custom Color, FRC Flexible Rubber Coating, 3.5 Gallon
Description
FRC Series Overview
- FRC (Standard) – Our standard rubberized coating, which can be used as a topcoat over the High-Build formula to smooth the surface. It can be applied to properly prepared wood, concrete, and primed metal substrates. FRC provides surface protection, water resistance, and slip resistance.
- FRC High-Build 1.5 – Designed for use on damaged wood or concrete. This formula contains 50–60 mesh vulcanized rubber aggregate to increase thickness and help fill cracks or other surface damage. Multiple layers can be applied, to achieve a more even surface. High-Build 1.5 must then be top-coated with FRC (Standard).
- Vulcanized Rubber Aggregate – A granulated rubber product used in our FRC High-Build 1.5 formula. Contractors who require more control over the amount of aggregate in the FRC coating can purchase the rubber aggregate separately and adjust the mix to meet specific project requirements.
Additional Products
- Endura-Plate – Endura-Plate is an extremely durable multi-surface coating and sealant, which can be used as a final topcoat over FRC products to reduce dirt pickup, enhance durability, and provide a refined finish. It can also be applied as a stand-alone coating on a wide variety of surfaces without the need for an FRC rubberized base and is an available in tinted or clear finishes.
- Bond-All Bonding Primer - High-performance, water-based bonding and metal primer engineered for superior adhesion on hard-to-paint surfaces. It provides exceptional bonding, wet adhesion, and fast drying, making it an excellent choice for interior and exterior applications when a primer is required.

FRC - Flexible Rubber Coating & Endura-Plate Ultra Durable Acrylic Enamel
Two Great Products That Work Well Together!
FRC – Flexible Rubber Coating is not a self-leveling product and you should not expect a perfectly smooth floor.
For more damaged floors, FRC “High-Build” may be used. It contains a granulated rubber aggregate to create a thicker, more resilient membrane. Multiple coats can soften and reduce visible surface texture and damage but will not completely hide it, so larger cracks or voids should always be repaired first with a suitable patching material.
The 'High-Build" leaves a lightly “pebbled” texture due to the aggregate; additional coats of standard (non-aggregate) FRC are then applied over this to build the membrane and further smooth the surface.
Once the FRC membrane is established, the floor can be top-coated with clear or tinted Endura-Plate, an ultra-durable acrylic enamel that provides a smoother, tougher, glossier finish that is easier to clean and maintain. Together, FRC and Endura-Plate offer an economical, water-resistant, high-performance system to extend the life of hard-working floors.
The images below show before images of some damaged wooden floors, a side view illustrating how the layers are typcially applied, and actual 'after' images of a floor coated using both FRC - Flexible Rubber Coating and Endura-Plate.
