PRODUCT USE

Suitable to prime a wide range of surfaces however because there are so many, plastics, composite materials and unique circumstances always test a small area first for adhesion and topcoat compatibility before starting. *When priming Kynar® and Silicone Polyester pre-finished metal at least two test patches in different areas is recommended to demonstrate adhesion that is acceptable to you. Glossy or smooth hard slick surfaces should be dulled and/or abraded using silicon carbide sandpaper, Scotch-Brite® or other abrading medium to de-gloss and create a surface profile to obtain maximum adhesion. Bare or rusting ferrous metal requires a rust inhibiting iron primer be applied 1st. Not recommended for use on polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon® or Nylon. Not recommended for below grade or submersion application.
